How To Stretch Your Relaxer For Healthier Hair (week 15)


Wow! It has really been 15 weeks since my last relaxer! Don't get me wrong, this is not my first rodeo when it comes to relaxer stretching but this time around it seems like my hair is growing like crazy, making my new growth become just downright disrespectful! For a split second I considered stopping this stretch at 16 weeks and calling it a day but then I remembered that I CAN DO THIS!  I said that to say, trust me, I know it can get hard when you are trying to stretch your relaxer out but your hair will thank you in the end. Also, nothing in life that is actually worth it comes easy. Good things take time and if you are committed to having your hair grow longer and become healthier then it is going to take some time. So with that being said, this healthy hair journey is not for the weak! It definitely takes some dedication but you can do it.


This week's hairstyle was really a fluke that turned out to be cute. I told myself that I was going to curl it but after doing so I thought it was a bit too curly so I tried to wrap it. Even after unwrapping it I thought it was STILL too curly so instead of putting more heat on it, I got creative and did a bun at the top and down in the back. This made the curls tolerable for me and also the style was surprisingly easy to maintain. The curls lasted the whole week!
