How To Get Healthier Hair By Stretching Your Relaxer (week 14)

For week 14 of the relaxer stretching series, I decided to do my hair straight. I am feeling the effects of stretching as my new growth is taking over my roots. Nevertheless, I will continue on this journey of stretching all the way out! Well, until 24 weeks at least, not all the way out as in transitioning. Remember, if you are stretching your relaxer out it is so you can have healthier relaxed hair, although it can seem like pure torture as the weeks get on up there. If you plan on stopping as soon as you have two inches then you only have two more weeks until your touch up. And to that I say, CONGRATU-FREAKIN-LATIONS! Once you get to 16 weeks you will begin to tell yourself that it was not that bad and you will eventually begin to question how you ever got relaxers every six weeks in the first place.

Even my little one approves of my hair and Silk Hydration products!

This week (as with all the weeks) I used Silk Hydration by L. Jones products.  Here is a list of all products used:

I am using the Extreme Moisture shampoo more now because as the weather changes and it gets colder outside there is less moisture in the air and that is when hair tends to look drier. It keeps my hair moisturized and hydrated.
