How To Stretch Your Relaxer (Week 12)



Week 12! It is so nice to finally see you! I have reached the halfway point of the relaxer challenge! This means that half of all of the hard work is done. I have been stretching my relaxer for a while so I am used to it but I have to admit that getting to this halfway point has me very happy. At this point I am getting very close to having two inches of new growth. For a lot of you, your stretch is almost over. Only four more weeks stand in between you and and your creamy crack heaven. As for me, I'll continue to go another eight weeks after I hit sixteen weeks.


This week I did a semi curled, semi straight look. What that basically means is that I only had it really curly on the ends and straight at the root. This gives it body and helps it move. I am not a big fan of really curly hair but this is a style that I can handle. This week I used the following Silk Hydration by L. Jones products:


These products help my new growth get so soft, which makes me able to manage it much better. This is what allows me to stretch for so much longer than most other people. I am telling all of you that if you are having problems with handling two different textures of hair, get you some Silk Hydration by L. Jones products to help you with that! And I'm not just saying that because it is my own personal line of hair products, but they really do work! Anyway, I also only went through my hair with one pass of the flat iron. Remember that continuing to go over the same piece of hair multiple times can cause your hair to have damage.
