How To Stretch Your Relaxer Past 6 Weeks (week 26)

I am so excited today!  It is the last day of the stretch, the day I get my relaxer.  I have made it to exactly six months. There are 52 weeks in a year and if you divide that by 2, guess what number you get?? That's right, 26!  It has been a journey and I look forward to doing it every time.  I love to see the significant growth of my hair at each relaxer visit.  Take a look at the last video, I also got a trim because I can not stand split ends.  I will enjoy this silky straight hair at least for the first six weeks.

I hope you got a lot out of this series.  I did it to show that it can be done.  Remember, the point of the stretch is not to see if you can transition into natural but to stretch your relaxers long enough to not overlap when you get your touch ups.  You can have healthy hair that is relaxed if you do it right!  Two inches of new growth should be what you aim for.  Since I am setting the example, I choose to go further to let you know that if I can go six months you can definitely go four.  Good luck on your healthy hair journey!!
