New Year, New Body- My Weight Loss Journey

I'm not like a lot of people who make a New Year's Resolution to lose weight.  I just happened to be going through my closet and found a lot of clothes with the tags still on it that were just a little bit too snug.  I don't know whether I bought them when I was smaller or maybe I just bought them as motivation.  Either way, I need to be able to fit everything in my closet!  Out of frustration I decided to go on a weight loss mission.  I want to lose twenty pounds but fifteen would be acceptable as well.  I just want to be able to fit everything in my closet and not have to buy any more clothes that are bigger than what I already have.  About a year after I had my son, I went on Weight Watchers and lost twenty pounds.  I did manage to maintain that weight, but now I would like to be just a little bit smaller and lose another 15-20 pounds.  Basically, I want to get back to size 8.  As of right now I'm in between a 10 and a 12 depending on the store.  I want to be an 8 no matter what store I go to!  So, I went back to what I know works, Weight Watchers.  This time I'm only doing one month to get me on the right track, then I'll continue losing on my own until I get to where I want to be.  Here is where I currently am:

I've already been doing it for one week and think I have lost a couple of pounds (or it could be wishful thinking).  Anyway, I'll update weekly to let you know my progress.  Wish me luck!

Week 1- This week I lost four pounds!!!! I can not yet visually tell a difference but my scale says I am lighter so I am happy with that.  Only sixteen more to go.

  1. I love the weight watchers program. I used it to lose 30 lbs about 3 years ago and have been maintaining ever since! Please keep us updated on your progress!
