Another Silk Out

So here I am again doing yet another silk press on natural hair.  I love doing these kinds of transformations, especially when the person has never had it done before or just never had it done by me.  This was this particular client's first time coming to me and I'm happy to say she was pleased with the results as well as the products.  So let's go into details on exactly what I did.

The picture listed above is her un-relaxed hair (notice I didn't say "natural") right after it was shampooed.  She is not considered natural because she does have permanent color in her hair.  I started the process by shampooing the hair with Silk Hydration by L. Jones Moisturizing Shampoo.  I chose not to use the clarifying shampoo on her because she informed me that her hair was very dry and I didn't want the clarifying shampoo to remove all of the moisture out.

Next, I gave her a moisture treatment with Silk Hydration by L. Jones Intense Moisturizing Treatment.  I let it sit for about 15-20 min with a plastic cap on without heat. After rinsing I proceeded with the blow dry.

After all of the hair was dry I then began pressing with the ceramic flat iron. The rest of the pictures are her after shots.  I did not trim her ends since she recently had that done elsewhere.  To maintain this look she will need to wrap it every night and not get any water or humidity on it until she is ready to shampoo again.
