Transitioning From Relaxed To Natural Hair

This client came in today because she is transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair. The pic taken above is her "before" pic when she had just taken some braids out.  I clipped her ends the get some of the relaxed part out first before shampooing it an having it go curly on me.

She didn't want any heat on her hair so she wanted to get the flexi rods.  I started by shampooing with a clarifying shampoo, then a moisturizing shampoo before following up with Silk Hydration by L. Jones Daily Conditioner.

After rinsing, I detanlged hair and applied Nairobi foam wrap all over.  Then I rolled all of her hair on the flexi rods (green and yellow).  She sat for about 45 minutes before it was completly dry.

She will be able to wear this style for up to two weeks.  For maintenance all she has to do is use her fingers to style it and put her satin bonnet on.  This is a very easy style to maintain.
