Silk Press/ Blowout/ Straightening Natural Hair

This client came in for a silk press and to be "hydrated".  She has natural hair and wanted to wear it straight.  The picture below is her before shot.  This is right after I shampooed and conditioned it.

I used two things to get these results: a clarifying shampoo and Silk Hydration by L. Jones Intense Moisturizing Treatment.  I used the clarifying shampoo twice to make sure any residue and/or product build up was removed from the hair. After that, I applied the moisturizing treatment and let it sit for about 20 min.

After rinsing the treatment from the hair I began to blow the hair out, although I did also cut it into layers.

Next I began the silk press by using the ceramic flat iron.

These are the final results. Her hair felt so soft and silky afterwards.  Sometimes I'm shocked at the results that I get with my treatment and now I can honestly say that when I use other conditioners I can feel a difference.

To take care of this she will simply wrap it every night and put on her silk scarf.

If you are interested in experiencing Silk Hydration by L. Jones for yourself, you can order online (click here) and have it shipped directly to your door!  I would love for you to try it and tell me what you think.
