Sew In- Just In Time For Prom

This client came in for a sew in for her prom.  It was her first one so I had to do it extra special.  She wanted it styled half up half down to go with her dress so I had my work cut out for me.

I started this sew in by shampooing her natural hair to remove all the excess residue from it.  I then conditioned it really well with Bed Head moisturizing conditioner.  Next, I combed her hair straight down and put her under the dryer until it was about 85% dry.  I blow dried the rest, braided her up, then sewed her hair on.  She used Bobbi Boss hair in 14" and 16" #2.  Once all the hair was sewn in, I curled it all then pinned some up.  She was happy and looked absolutely gorgeous when her total look came together and she had her dress on and make up done.  I'm glad I could be a part of her big day!

Here are a couple of pics that I took before I curled it to show how she can also pull this hair up in a high bun or ponytail if desired:

This is what you call a versatile sew in where it can be worn all kinds of ways and still look natural and not bumpy or lumpy.
